City Harbour International School adheres to the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education, this is to ensure the safety measures that students, teachers and staff are required to follow.

Cleanliness

  • Mandatory frequent handwashing / sanitization for all students and staff.
  • Common areas such as washrooms to be disinfected every two hours.
  • Whole school campus to be disinfected at end of every day.

Health Screening

  • Students coming by self to be thermally screened by staff at time of arrivals.
  • Visitors will scanned the QR Code using MySejahtera app
  • Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education, Government of Malaysia guidelines to be strictly followed

Hygiene

  • Increase in number of portable hands-free handwashing stations. Installation of at least 2 on each floor.
  • Masks to be compulsory for everyone to wear. Formation of “Hygiene Team” to ensure hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Windows and air vents to be left opened after school.

Mealtimes

  • No outside food to be allowed as per school guidelines
  • From Year 3 and above – packed food allowed from home only
  • Different Recess timings for different classes.
  • No sharing of food to be allowed.
  • Students to sit and eat their meals at their respective places/desks in the classroom.

What is Mandatory to bring?

  • Recommended for all students to carry pocket sanitizers.
  • Mandatory for all students to wear masks and carry a pair of disposable gloves.
  • Mandatory to carry water bottles.

What is not Allowed to bring?

  • No bags allowed till Year 2 and Learning Material to be kept in school only.
  • No non-essential plastic or metal objects allowed.
  • No packed meals allowed
