Message from HOD
Dear Parents and CHIS Family,
It has certainly been an exciting and smooth sailing towards a whimsical school year. Undeniably COVID19 poses a great impact globally, we at CHIS committed to combat the spread of the pandemic within CHIS community with mandatory adherence to our health and safety guidelines and SOPs!
With the health measures in place, CHIS has been able to maintain as a COVID free premise. We would like to thank our students, parents, teachers, admins and CHIS community for their commendable cooperation and support in realizing our school’s vision and mission during this crisis.
A quick recap on our timeline, our arts and cultural team has been cruising through spectacular month of August with bundle of activities in the spirit of Merdeka. We also held school Peace Day aims at pandemic battle to world peace and betterment post-pandemic. Month of September was declared as Language Month where students were venturing and analysing the depth and beauty of Linguistics. October was a celebration month with colourful and joyful activities where students never failed to engage. One of our extracurricular platforms is Junior Award Scheme for Schools (JASS). It is a progressive learning programme for students, which has been designed to recognise wider achievement and develop veracity skills. November will be focused on lesson revision and examination. Upcoming event on CHIS horizon will be the graduation ceremony with special awards, concert, and PTC!
Looking forward to the Homecoming of January 2022. We are excited to begin the year with tutorial and enrichment programs including a new Podcasting program. Our Green School initiatives will be continued with our recycling campaign and preparations for our composting project.
Communication is essential and we strive to connect with our students, parents, and community. We will continue reaching out to you with weekly calls and text messages. We wish to express our sincere gratitude towards our entire CHIS community. We would not be the remarkable school that we are, without the help and support of all of you.
